Where you do you see your business a few years down
the line?
As time goes on, Dainty Affairs will become internationally
established, by the Grace of God. We will be known as more
than a Professional occasion service provider, as we continue
to own our great responsibility of being an inspiration to
younger women. We have now begun work on the Dainty
Affairs Finishing School which is a Training and etiquette
school where we will raise a fresh class of ladies (with core
emphasis on teenagers and young ladies); who will become
excellent at whatever it is they are passionate about, as we
help them become exceptional young women.
What do you think is the future of events mgt/wedding
planning in Nigeria and how do you see your business
playing a role in that?
I believe that people in Nigeria are beginning to understand
the crucial importance of proper event planning, particularly
weddings. Brides and Grooms now appreciate the details
that go into making their day extraordinary, which is what
everyone deserves. I see the industry getting the boost
which it clearly deserves as many more people begin to
invest in it. Dainty Affairs is one that will continue to pursue
its vision and mission, never compromise on anything as we
deliver that bespoke professional service to each client.
What advice do you have for intending brides as they
prepare for their big day?
I would say to any bride; choose wisely. Start planning early.
Select wedding service-providers whose work you’ve seen
and feel very comfortable with. And pray it’s a beautiful day
with absolutely great weather. However, whatever happens
on the big day, just relax and enjoy because the day goes by
really fast.
